West Coast IPA Collaboration with West Coast Brewing (Shizouka, Japan) Hollingbery and Son Hops, and Segal Ranch.We are incredibly stoked to use a brand new hop called Ramosa in this IPA (formerly Experimental D5, grown by the good folks at Segal Ranch in Grandview, WA). We kept the malt bill simple on this one, with the majority of the hop bill using Ramosa, with a bit of Nelson thrown late in the kettle and the dry hop. When we originally rubbed this in the field, we got big grapefruit and intense pineapple…nothing like we’ve ever smelled before. This transferred over very nicely into this beer and we’re very excited to use this hop more in the very near future.
