Description
We’ve brewed Kiln and Cone many times throughout our tenure in Interbay – originally with the intention that it would be one of our only offerings of a hoppy beer. Ten years and many, many hoppy beers later, we still come back to this as one of our beloved brews. We’ve enjoyed mixing up the hop varieties between batches, and we’ve found that each time brings new bright flavors while remaining deliciously familiar.
For this batch, we used pilsner malt and wheat as well as some flaked oats for a soft mouthfeel. We hit it hard with Citra and Idaho 7 in the kettle and more of the same in the dry hop for a perfect blend of citrus, pine, and a touch of tropical fruit.
