Sunless Year was brewed with pilsner, munich, and a variety of crystal and dark specialty malts, and hopped in the kettle with Tettnang hops. It was fermented entirely in 3rd use whiskey barrels with our house lager yeast. After primary fermentation it was moved to stainess where it lagered cold for 5 weeks.
