Ale aged in oak barrels on Carménère grapes.
Sacrament is a line of beers aged in oak on grapes. This batch is a blend of multiple wheat-based beers that were fermented entirely in oak with house wild cultures. the blend was then transferred into oak barrels from our friends at JB Neufeld on top of crushed Carménère grapes from Chukar Vineyards located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA in southeastern WA. After going through a secondary fermentation on grapes, it continues to age in oak for a number of months before blending and bottling.
Refermented in the bottle with Brettanomyces.
